As we pause to thank Him for the blessings of the past year,
we must not forget to thank Him for the lessons
we have learned through our difficult times.
We are not to be thankful for just the pleasant,
easy things, but allthings. Millie Stamm
Hi Adrienne Just stopping by to say hello. Have you read One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp? It is a wonderful book all about being grateful. Ann's blog is Holy Experience. Hugs, Rhondi
Amen, sister! That is so right. Although seems like a have a few lessons that I take the test on over and over again! :) Oh, wouldn't it be fun to get together? We wouldn't get much work done though. I think we'd be playin'! :) Thanks for popping in to see me. Be a sweetie, Shelia ;)
That is such a valuable lesson, and it is also one that when learned gives so much comfort. We do grow with each lesson learned.
I have been very sick with a cold and cough. I am in the third week now, but beginning to feel better. Unfortunately, now my sweet husband has it.
My husband's job went through the same thing earlier this year. He is on a four day week, and he loves it. The stress level changed dramatically, and he is like a different person.
I will keep you and your sweet mother in my prayers. I know this is hard. I watch my mother change almost daily.
