Pink. Deep pink.Filling the sky with color. Reflected by the lake below. And then it was nearly gone.Soon to be a memory.Through the trees - evidence that it had moved on. For someone else to see. And enjoy.
There will more sunsets. We will watch in amazement. But there will never be a sunset quite like the one at the lake. God's handiwork. In our hearts forever.
Adrienne, these pictures are breathtaking. I am always awed by God's wonder.
ReplyDeleteYou should have put these pictures in our Pink Saturday even.
Hi Adrienne
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sunset you captured. How anyone could watch a sunset and not believe there is a God is beyond me.
That is a beautiful place to go camping. I missed chatting with you but will be back after the grands visit is over. If they ever get here!!
Hugs, Rhondi
Oh yes, you captured it!! What lake did you go to?? Hot sunny today huh! Enjoy your weekend. Laurie lm.sm@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteHi Adrienne and thank you for visiting me this morning. Isn't that a sweet little song. Makes me want to dance and I really don't even know how to! Oh, my! Your photos of the sky are breathtaking. God does paint the prettiest pictures, doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend.
Shelia ;)
...so lovely...
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos, Adrienne! Beautiful sunset!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for coming by my photo blog. It's been since last Monday since I put anything on there. I looked at the Hosta, early this morning and just had to photograph them. I'm planning a garden blog, at the back porch, for tomorrow evening or Monday. I love the changes through the season.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Pat
How peaceful and beautiful it all is. The best part? Blogging it means you can relive it and see the beautiful sunset again. I love that, dont you?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Adrienne! I always find that the photos never capture the true beauty of a gorgeous sunset but I can't imagine the real thing could have been any lovelier than your pictures.
ReplyDeleteGod does such beautiful work! Blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteAdrienne, those are just beautiful photos! I love watching a sunset...and over a lake makes it more special!

There is no greater artist than the Creator of all that is beautiful! Isn't it awesome that He shares His creations with us so freely and allows us to preserve them at will through the lens of our cameras so that friends on the other side of the country/world can enjoy the beauty as well!!!!! Thank you for sharing these beautiful paintings with us!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs!

I enjoyed seeing the painting by our greatest Artist!!

ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE this post!! Cloud and sky watching are a favorite passtime for me - you captured a very special sky indeed! Love the way you put all the pictures together with your narrative! I felt like i was there with you, watching the clouds roll by.... And thank you for your visit to my blog. I'm so glad you enjoyed the used bookstore post. I also grew up reading Nancy Drew!! I always knew there would be a new copy under the tree come Christmas morning!...Donna
ReplyDeleteGod's handiwork indeed!! He makes the most beautiful pictures for us, doesn't he?
