We did! We left the sand at the beach. We came home last evening after a wonderful time together at the Oregon Coast. We were blessed in many ways and it was a most special birthday treat for my dear little mother. We didn't want to come home, but we did. Our home seemed strangely quiet last night without the roar of the sea outside our window. Back to the routine of real life today. But we are so thankful for our time away together. There were many blessings we could not have planned. There is so much to share - I will. Soon.
Thank you for your kind comments and birthday wishes for my dear mother. She was overwhelmed that so many 'friends' she has never met took the time to give her birthday greetings.
I am far behind with responses to comments. Each of your sweet comments mean so much to me. I hope to catch up soon. In the meantime I will try to stop longing to be where I am not - by the waves of the majestic Pacific Ocean. Instead, I will do what I must and will treasure the time away to rest and relax and be with the people I love so dearly.
(A gentle reminder. Slow down - breathe - relax.)
Oh, my goodness....that BEAUTIFUL music relaxed me so much, I am having to hang on to my computer chair to keep from just sliding right out on to the floor. Ummmm...so nice.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you had such a lovely time. It would so do every one of us such good to take such a relaxing time off. It seems near impossible for most of us, however.
hugs, bj
glad you had a wonderful relaxing time with your mother at the beach... nothing is as relaxing as the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the shore....
ReplyDeleteglad to have you home though...
blessings,
Mimi
Oh I just love a wonderful getaway to the coast. We can hear hwy 99 where we are at and sometimes we pretend that the cars going by are actually the sound of waves.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love the beauty of valley here, I'd love to live down at the coast.
I'm glad you had a nice time there!
We are in the middle of ice and snow here...we can't wait until summer and Cape Cod (our get-away to the beach)!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed and wonderful day!
